Pablo & Nermina · Wedding Cards

Pasado, Presente, Futuro (Español) · Dåtid, Nutid, Framtid (Swedish) · Prošlost, Sadašnjost, Budućnost (Bosnian). A drop down of eight letterpressed faces wedding cards, creased and folded by hand. The challenge was to effectively communicate the event details in three languages: Spanish, Swedish and Bosnian, due to provenance of couple and guests.

Measures: 6 in (Width) × 8 in (Height) × 24 in (Depth). Two months of production time. 70 Units, 8 pages each invitation, letterpressed both faces and folded by hand. Silver ink over the splendor Fedrigoni paper ‘Savile Row Plain (Dark Grey)’, 300gm2.

Production Lessons

Personally I loved to get involved at every design and production process, networking between clients and suppliers.

Typography

Free manual typesetting, handmade printed combining wood and lead fonts from different eras.

Wooden Fonts: Memphis, Ponderosa, Venner and Veltro. Lead Fonts: Bisonte, Superveloz, Helvetica, Gill Sans, Futura, Vario, Modern, Univers, Künstler Script and Kelmscott.
