Red Yo Cuido is made for anyone looking for support, to build a tribe and let go of the daily burdens, because parenting doesn’t have to be a lonely journey.
A safe space where users can connect with mothers who are geographically close, offer and receive support in small day–to–day tasks, share experiences and feel accompanied in parenting.
This app aims to help us better understand how we want to live our motherhood, how to get rid of guilty feelings and to serve as facilitators of a social transformation.
We have worked closely to the team of the association yo no renuncio from the club de las Malasmadres, studying and interpreting the research data analyzed for 10 years by them, about how women live motherhood and how they respond to the need to end the loneliness they experience when they become mothers.
Main insights from the the data from Yo No Renuncio Association. 85% of women say they have felt lonely since becoming mothers due to a lack of support in reconciling work and family life. 6 out of 10 women say they feel guilty when delegating the care of their children to other people and 34% believe that the barrier is finding reliable people available to attend to occasional care.
“Women are the ones who reduce the workday, who multiply the hours of caregiving and become invisible in the companies”.

Laura Baena at Espacio Fundación Telefónica in Madrid (Spain), hosted the launching event, to talk about this network project. The app is available at the app stores, both Android and iOS, since then.
